Workaway is a website for ‘cultural exchange, working holidays and volunteering’. Ellie added us to that website as a kind of experiment. Because its nice to have people helping out for few hours a day in exchange for staying in the guesthouse.

Very quickly we get in touch with five young scouts who’s ‘work holiday’ was cancelled very last minute. They we desperate to find an alternative within two days. Because they will only stay for five days this is good experiment for us to see how this works.

So that is how Julliete, Aurielle, Tito, Cecar and Alexandre end up at our place. Helping every morning on the land and in the afternoon hiking, sunbathing at the beach or visiting Sesimbra. 

They are pushing each other to the limits ;-)

Always many things to do.

And after a hard day’s work its time for a very Portuguese tradition: preparing food on the grill in the outside kitchen!
