Today May 10th, 2020 we finally signed the promissory contract, the “Contrato de Promessa de Compra e Venda”, which translates into “Property Purchase and Sale Agreement”. Aozia, these houses and their land feel very good for us!

The houses and land have a great view to the Atlantic Ocean. In the distance one can see Cascais and the hills of Sintra. The different roofs and colors make it look as several houses, or maybe even a tiny village. But the houses are smaller then they look and have thick walls. The total inside floor space of everything in the photo is only 170 square meters.

The land, like the houses, had no maintenance for several years. However, the soil is good and has a lot potential. The total surface is almost 1.2 hectares (12.000 m2).

The next step is to make a final agreement in front of a notary. But the property has some illegal constructions which have to be demolished first. That might take a while…
