For a long time it did not rain. The Winter was already much too dry and Spring did not bring more humidity either.

The last serious rain fall was on April 22nd (20 mm) and after that a sparse 1-2 mm a few times, with a total of 8 mm, in May and June. 

So for 5 months we danced our butts off to no avail. 

Imagine our happiness receiving a total of 24 mm today! This comes down to 24 liters of water for every square meter. That’s plentiful.

And now let’s hope the trend continues.
