Our good friend Willem came for a short visit. He is hands on and needs to be busy. So luckily for all of us it was raining most of the days ;-)

Enough small things to do, as we planned to move here by the end of this week.

We still had the container that we ordered for the rumble of the renovation. Together we dumped all kinds of stuff that was left somewhere on the land in the past. Like several old metal poles, heavy because of their cement base which we had to break with hammers. Willem was also helpful putting an old cupboard together.

In daily life Willem is selling and maintaining industrial water solutions. He took home some water and had it tested: soft water with some iron and a little on the high side with Chloride. Not sure how our plants will feel about that.

And, this is Portugal, so even if it rains we have sunny hours between the showers. Time well spent on hikes and visiting the beaches around.
