Our builder Oleg re-created a bathroom at the location of the previous bathroom. That one had to be demolished because it was illegal. But it is still the best spot and it will only be temporarely anyway. Because eventually the white houses will become the main house. So in due time (two years?) this bathroom will be removed again.

The renovation of the inside of the yellow house is much more work. He estimates it will take about two months. That was without replacing the kitchen. Our original plan was to keep the kitchen - it was old but still functional. But then our neighbors in Cascais told us they were going to replace their kitchen and we could have their old one. So we said yes, thank you!
