Today the contractor started with the very first phase or renovation. He will add a small bathroom to the white house and do some small repairs to make that house more comfortable. It will have two/three bedrooms, a dining room and a kitchen. We also ordered a new gas stove.

For the next two months we will live there (if we are in Azoia), while the contractor renovates the ground floor of the yellow house. Once the yellow house is done, we will move there and the white house will become our guesthouse. That is also the moment that we leave Cascais.

In the future the white house will become our own house and the yellow house the guest house. But that might take two years or so…
